There are certain occasions where you may need to assist in editing or even deleting an application.
Candidates who apply for a position without a job seeker account, or those candidates whom you have assisted by manually submitting an application, will always need to turn to you and your colleagues for help.
If the application deadline has passed, candidates who applied via a job seeker account will also need your assistance with modifications or deletions!
Edit an application
Start by accessing the candidate's application in the relevant case.
In the box for contact and personal information, there are two symbols on the right:
A pencil for editing
A trash can for deletion
Both options are linked to the permissions required for you to use them!
The function to edit an application should be used very restrictively and only at the request of the candidate.
Edit attached files
You can also upload and delete attached files in an application!
If there are already files attached to the application, you will find them under the "Files" tab. This is also where you can upload more files.
In the upper right corner under the tab, you will find the button to attach documents.
If you need to delete a file, click on the specific file, and at the bottom of the page, you will find the option to delete it.
Delete an application
If you need to delete an application, you do this in the same place, but instead of pressing the pencil to edit, you press the trash can to delete 🗑
When you press the trash can, you will first get a pop-up asking you to confirm that you really want to delete the application. If you choose to confirm, the entire application, including any attached files, survey responses, message history, etc., will be deleted.
Note! When you delete an application from the list of applications, the deletion is scheduled and the candidate's application is hidden from the list of applications. The actual deletion of the candidate's application is performed overnight.
