Grading candidates

Written by Mikaela

Grading candidates gives you a quick overview of who’s hot and who’s not in your application pool. It’s all about working smarter, not harder!

Customize your options

You define your own grading scale. Common choices are "Not relevant," "Interesting," and "Very interesting."

  • Go to Admin

  • Select Account information

  • Click the Classifications tab

Grade multiple candidates at once

Don’t waste time clicking every single profile if they share the same status.

  1. Check the boxes for all candidates you wish to grade.

  2. Change the grade for one of the selected candidates.

  3. Confirm the pop-up message to apply the change to everyone selected.

General vs. Personal Selection Grading

Choose the style that fits your team:

General Grading

One grade to rule them all. All recruiters see and share the same grade. If someone changes it, it updates for everyone.

Personal Selection Grading & Mean Value

Perfect for teamwork! Every recruiter sets their own grade.

  • An average value is displayed next to the grade in the candidate record.

  • Hover over the number to see individual scores from your colleagues.

Note: Ensure your classification codes are numerical for the average to be calculated correctly

Calculation Example

Imagine you have these grades: "Not interesting" (0), "Interesting" (1), and "Very interesting" (2).

  • Two recruiters grade the same candidate.

  • Recruiter A chooses "Interesting" (value 1).

  • Recruiter B chooses "Very interesting" (value 2).

  • The total sum is 3, resulting in a mean value of 1.5.

Enable this feature under Admin -> Account information -> Other tab.

NOTE: If you previously used the general grading, but switch to using the personal grading, the grading that was set before the switch will be indicated as "General grading" and will be counted towards the average value.
